For 5 years, any visitor to http://justtogetarep.com could “bomb” the website with a virtual spraycan. This video chronicles every stroke people painted on the wall over the years. This was an experiment in interactivity from the good ‘ol days of Flash websites. When you’d come to the site, you’d just see spraycans falling in the background. They had random colors, and you’d have to grab them in flight or pick them up once they stopped bouncing on the ground. You’d then have a random amount of paint in the can before it would run out. You could throw a can in the trash to get another random color. There were no instructions though, so people just played around and figured it out. It’s fascinating to see what developed over the years.
